The Delta Team has made great strides since 1995, when it began working from a donated office space in Montrose. In 1999, we opened a separate office in Delta County thanks to a group of local citizens who generously gave of their time and dollars to raise over $115,000 in just a few months.

In 1999, we were proud to serve 20 patients each day. Today, 11 years later, the Delta team has tripled in size, and serves more than 60 patients per day. We know as Delta County residents age, the need for Hospice will continue to grow.

Since December, the Delta team has been occupying a building with a lease to purchase option. By owning the space, in close proximity to Delta Memorial Hospital, the hospice team can be assured quick access to respond to the needs of the hospital and the community in Delta County. We have leased the space since December, and will be doing a few facelifts prior to taking possession when the campaign is completed.

Each member of the Board of Directors, Delta Advisory Board and each Delta employee has stepped up to support this campaign providing 100% participation. Now we need everyone's help to reach our goal of $400,000 to purchase and update the space and continue to provide compassionate care to Delta County.
